AMS Carbon Spined BreakAway Arrow w/ Big Game AnKor FX Point & Ring System

Description

These AMS developed, carbon spined®, shafts are fiberglass cored with five sections of carbon fiber. These arrows are ultra-straight and have more spine than fiberglass alone. The additional spine provides a more stable, more accurate shot. We recommend these arrows for those shooting at higher draw weights. Each shaft is manually inspected by AMS for straightness and only the straightest shafts are used! Each shaft is 5/16" in diameter and 32" long. This complete, ready to shoot arrow will also include the patented AMS EverGlide® Safety Slide® system installed to the shaft. (US Patent 6,517,453).

Big Game BreakAway arrows and points are meant to be used on alligator, shark or other similar game. By using our special collar system, you'll tie a section of line to a small ring on the shaft and tie the end of the line to the point. This method allows the shaft to be pulled free from the point and hanging from the ring when the target is hit. The collar system controls the slack line on the shaft. The ability to remove the shaft from point minimizes arrow damage from rolling or thrashing after the shot.
