Design features include gasket sealing that makes the case dust and waterproof, a molded-in hinge for added strength, six stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and six trigger release latches that compress the O-ring and seal the case tight. The case is resistant to a variety of hazards that you may encounter, such as ultraviolet (UV) radiation, chemical solvents, corrosion, and even fungi. A pressure relief valve comes into play during air transport by regulating the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that could otherwise develop.
